A reboot of the 1980s Muppet Babies is scheduled to arrive in 2018, on Disney Junior. This new reboot will be 3D animated, unlike the original Muppet Babies show which was 2D animated. The new reboot will follow a very common structure used in many animated shows, the episodes will be 22 minutes long and will feature two 11 minute segments within one episode. Also the show will geared towards kids 4 to 7 years old. Debbie McClellan, vice president of the Muppets Studio also had this to say. "Bringing Muppet Babies to Disney Junior is a wonderful opportunity to reach a new generation of viewers and to creatively build on the innovative original series. We hope to engage and delight the nostalgic fans while also entertaining new kids, parents and diverse audiences through heart and humor as only the Muppets can deliver.” Nancy Kanter, Disney Junior Worldwide executive vice president and general manager showed the level of excitement that the Disney Junior has for this show "We are proud, and a little bit giddy, to begin production on our new version of the much-loved Muppet Babies" Will you be watching this new reboot?
