With the re-theming of Paradise Pier transforming it into Pixar Pier, we know now that a 'Incredicoaster' will be apart of it! For the first time since the D23 Expo 2017, we now have new details and concept art for this immersive land. With newly themed attractions, merchandise and food, all of your beloved Pixar stories will now have a home at Disney California Adventure. This area will be broken up into 4 different neighborhoods, all representing different stories. The Incredibles Neighborhood: With a complete overhaul of the California Screamin' attraction which will close on January 8, to make way for the Incredicoaster. New additions include different looking ride vehicles, mid-century-modern loading area, all while being wrapped up with your favorite Incredibles characters. Toy Story Neighborhood: The second neighborhood will include the already existing Toy Story Mania attraction along with Jessie's Critter Carousel which is set to open in 2019. Inside Out Neighborhood: This third area will feature a family attraction based around the hit film Inside Out. You can briefly see this new spinner attraction in the far right of the concept art which is on the west side of the boardwalk. With what look to be colorful memory orbs. Also note that this will open on a a later date. Pixar Mashup Neighborhood: The famous Mickey's Fun Wheel is getting new additions of several Pixar characters which will be displayed across the 24 different gondolas. Games of the Boardwalk will also be getting this new Pixar theming. In order to bring this transformation to life both of these mentioned experiences will close on January 8, 2018. The Rest of Pixar Pier Dining places such as the Cove Bar and Ariel's Grotto will also close on January 8, to make way for a new lounge and grill. It's good to note that the Cove bar will briefly reopen in April before closing once again for it's complete retheming. Paradise Park The remaining part of Paradise Peir which is home to Silly Symphony Swings, Jumpin’ Jellyfish, Goofy’s Sky School, Golden Zephyr and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, will become a new land called Paradise Park.
